A reminder that love is in the air. Literally. The floating main street hearts have really lifted our spirits, and people have been popping in all day to admire them. Fun. When I have an idea for display, or decoration the image in my mind does not always match the outcome of the project, but this time, thanks to Bernie's patience and an old fishing reel of my Dad's ( the only monofilament I could find on a Sunday night ) the effect was achieved. I had the red cloth from one of our kids saved baby curtains ( decades old ), and found the perfect black and white complimentary fabric at Damariscotta's own Alewives Fabrics.
Back tomorrow with more pictures and news about our upcoming Valentine Handbag and Pearl jewelry sale. New scarves have arrived and some cool vintage inspired eye glass cases, too.
